We look after the IT, security and software of small and growing organisations across Bedfordshire. We explain things in plain English and own each problem until it is solved.
Our story
Big-company IT, sized for smaller teams
Denwen exists to give small and medium-sized organisations the standard of IT, security and software that larger companies take for granted, without the jargon or the enterprise price tag.
We work in two ways: as the complete outsourced IT department for smaller teams, or alongside an in-house IT lead who needs monitoring tools, third-line escalation and holiday cover.
Unlike most support providers, we also write software. We built our own remote monitoring and management platform, and we design websites, web apps and installable business software for clients.

They shape how we answer the phone, how we design systems and how we price our work.
Plain English
We explain what went wrong, what we did and what it means for you, without jargon. Advice is vendor-neutral and based on what your business needs.
Ownership
The engineer who picks up your issue sees it through, including chasing suppliers. Response targets are written down, so you can hold us to them.
Secure by default
Multi-factor authentication, patching, backups and least-privilege access are part of how we set things up, not optional extras sold later.
No lock-in
We document your systems, hand over credentials when asked, and agree who owns the code before we build software for you. You are never stuck with us.
Standards
The standards we work to
We hold our own systems to the same security standards we help clients meet.
ISO 27001-aligned
Our information security policies, access controls and incident response follow the ISO/IEC 27001 control framework. We are aligned with, not certified to, the standard.
Cyber Essentials preparation
We prepare clients for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus: we check devices, accounts and firewalls against the five technical controls, fix what fails and guide you through the independent assessment.
UK GDPR
We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, with data processing agreements for the client data we look after.
Microsoft 365 and Azure
We plan, deploy and support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Azure for small and growing businesses.
